KWARK was founded in ’95. The name comes from “kwark” (eng. quark) – an elementary particle in physics. It is so small and unpredictable that it is not certified that it exists. Our company was just like that back then. In the first years we made caps, berets, hats and shawls. Our first goal was to make good quality products and original patterns.
A line of professional sport underwear was added to our collection in ’97. We succeeded to dress, among others, the German National Representation in Canoeing and in the Kanu Polo. In ’99 gold-winning Polish National Representation in Rowing appeared in the outfits made by KWARK on the World Competitions.
In ’99 we decided to use the experience gained from the sport market to create a new outdoor collection of women’s clothes. At the beginning it was a revolutionary idea to bring together the best principles of the fashion world (original design, beauty and womanhood) and the advanced technologies providing functionality and comfort. Each of our collections was awarded for design, originality and concept.
KWARK has became a well-known brand and is still developing. You can buy our products in many countries in Europe and the US.
We stayed faithful to our ideals and values. Although it looked irrational, we insisted to produce our items in Poland. We struggled for the best, not the cheapest raw materials, we produced the best, not the bestselling products, we never gave up. KWARK is still a small company which produces unusual and unique things.
Our success lies also in the very precise selection of materials. In most of our products we use the best fabrics from a rich range of Polartec® materials. We test it carefully and check every detail.
